Course Overview
There are 7 modules, each individual lesson is delivered via video. It will have an activity or demonstration as well to help you retain as much as possible.
Module 1: What You Need To Know Right Up Front
Module 1 covers a lot of ground. The first video will help you get a good understanding of anxiety and depression; how depression and anxiety are linked to migraines and how to know if you even have anxiety.
You will learn the KEY things that help anxiety & depression (3 tips to help reduce anxiety asap); what natural solutions to consider (supplements & techniques) and what treatments yield the best results for migraine, anxiety and depression - THE 4 treatments if you have all three conditions.
And you'll learn why you feel panic before an attack.
Module 2: A Strategic Journaling Process To Help Transform Anger and Fear
In module 2, I walk through this process with you to help you work with 6 layers of emotions, starting with anger.
Module 3: How To Reduce Anxiety Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
In module 3, I walk through this process with you to help you work out what anxiety might look like for you. Identify, acknowledge, confront and retrain your brain.
Module 4: The Vicious Cycle of Depression... What To Do About It
Module 4 covers depression. How to know if you have depression and what things you can do to help it lift. There's a lecture where we discuss changing negative, unhelpful thoughts with a mindfulness technique, CBT and a little focusing (my passion).
Then we get to the best part... this next guided meditation.
Module 5: A New Way To Look at Your Depression Meditation
Module 5 is a meditation to help you redecorate your pit. This is profound and long lasting.
I call it Luxuriate Your Pit of Depression.
Module 6: One Way To Tap Into Your Depression
Module 6 looks at one tapping (EFT) method to shift energy using meridian points in the face.
EFT is short for Emotional Freedom Technique - it’s also called tapping. It uses the same meridians used in traditional Chinese acupuncture to treat emotional and physical ailments for over 5,000 years.
This tapping sequence can help you to confront and reduce your depressed feelings.
Module 7: Qigong To Help Alleviate Depression and Anxiety at the Same Time
In this video we are going to look a sequence of Qigong movements to help calm anxiety, lift depression and target the head, neck and shoulders to help those problem areas caused by repeated migraine attacks.
Demonstrated by a Qigong master (who's been teaching for over 30 years).
This is the grand finale! Just watching it and imagining you are doing it too, can help you shift anxiety and depression!

Not so long ago I spent 20 days each month in debilitating migraine pain. I can’t say that I’ve cracked the migraine code (there’s no secret formula), but I definitely have some tips and hacks that you should know about to get your best chance at stopping your debilitating pain and symptoms.
After decades of studying, research, trial and error, I’ve learned how to give myself my best chance at reducing pain and symptoms. I want to help you do the same, so you too can get back to your life as fast as possible.

How long is the course?
As short or as long as you make it - you work at your own pace. There are 7 modules, so if you choose to take 1 lesson a week, the full course will last about 7 weeks. It depends on what you choose to use a few times before moving on to the next lesson.

How long is each lesson?
For optimal learning, each lesson should take approximately 30 minutes to watch and digest. There are exercises / activities in each lesson to reinforce the learning.

How long will the exercises / activities take?
It’s up to you! Finding effective emotional relief and learning new management techniques needs experimentation to get the right fit for you. There’s also some trial and error involved - but there’s no rush, so you can take as long as you need to experiment and find what works for you.

What additional resources does the course include?
You’ll receive printouts (e.g. CBT worksheets, layer worksheet). These are distributed throughout the lessons in the course. Some lessons also include additional reading and resource links.

What are your qualifications?
Well, for starters, I’ve been dealing with my own severe and disabling migraines for over 25 years! And the depression and anxiety that comes with that (and life events). I’m also a master's degree qualified counselor and psychotherapist (MCAP), the author of MigraineSavvy.com and the award winning book Migraine Management. For over 20 years I've helped clients navigate through the emotional migraine minefield. Inside the course I share with you all the facts I wished I’d known about migraines, anxiety and depression when I was first diagnosed… it would have saved me a whole heap of heartache!

Will my migraines go away if I take this course?
I’m afraid the simple answer is: no. There is currently no cure for migraines. But - this course will teach you how to change the way you think about, manage and cope with this chronic condition. I do also remain hopeful of a cure one day - there are new medications (CGRP drugs) and new treatment trials that can be explored.

Will my anxiety and depression go away if I take this course?
These techniques have strong evidence behind them to help reduce anxiety and depression. There is no guarantee that your anxiety and depression will be cured forever. Both tend to reoccur from time to time no matter what, if you're already experiencing them. This course will teach you how to change the way you think about, manage and cope with these conditions. The techniques should lift your mood and help you shift to a more balanced emotional space.

Do I need to buy any special / additional equipment or materials for this course?
No. Everything you need to create a strategy for managing anxiety and depression is included within the course. But you might want to experiment with some of my suggestions, which can cost money. After taking the course you may like to consider buying my eBook - or look at my other courses - but that’s not a requirement for the course.
